The Atlanta housing market is giving buyers a little more room to shop and negotiate. In July, the median sales price across Metro Atlanta was about $405,000, while inventory reached about 4.8 months. There were nearly 28,000 active homes for sale, and sales slowed compared with June. Homes are also taking a little longer to sell, and about 1 out of every 4 Atlanta listings has had a price reduction.
